The versatile polyurethane foam is a high-elasticity assembly polyurethane material that forms when a reactive liquid mixture foams and cures as it interacts with moisture in the air. It accommodates the movement of structural elements induced by variations in temperature, humidity and other factors.
The versatile foam is very useful for application to joints in window openings, the interior insulation of roofs and for application in cavities. The foam is more elastic than ordinary PU foams and shows excellent resilience, which is why it is recommended for wooden structures and passive and low-energy structures.
Store at +20 °C in a cold, dry place which is easy to ventilate. The guaranteed effectiveness of the product is within 9 months of manufacture.

Datasheets(X)
- Clean any dust, grease and other dirt from the surface. Before applying the foam, the surface may be wet but not frosted or iced. Dry joints must always be moistened prior to use. Bonding primer must be applied to materials which contain plaster. Metals must be provided with a protective paint coat to prevent damage by corrosion. Substrates which contain asphalt or bitumen are unsuitable for foam application.
- The temperature of the bottle before application should be between +15°C and +20°C. Shake the contents of the bottle vigorously for one minute. Throughout the curing time, the substrate temperature must be min. 0 °C. If processing takes place above the optimum temperature (+20°C), the temperature of the contents in the bottle should not differ from the ambient temperature by more than 5°C. Structural parts which are sensitive to shaping should be securely fixed until the foam has fully hardened.
- Screw the bottle onto the applicator gun. The working position of the bottle is upside down. The amount of foam released is controlled by pressing the trigger of the application gun. The quality and volume of hardened foam depends on the relative air humidity. We recommend using a spray bottle filled with water to moisten the space to be filled. The foam should be moistened again after application, as this accelerates the curing reaction and provides optimum hardening. The joint width should be 5–30 mm; if the joint is larger than 30 mm, apply several layers.
- Hardened foam can be cut using a cutter. The surface must be protected against prolonged exposure to UV radiation.
- Fresh foam can be removed using a PU cleaner. Cured foam can only be removed using mechanical aids. If the work is interrupted for more than 10-15 minutes, the applicator must be cleaned with a PU cleaner.
