Steel, zinc-plated, blue passivated, partial thread

The combi head with AW drive and reinforced shaft neck is extremely versatile and boasts a high power transmission.

The glide-coated asymmetrical coarse thread with mating thread and burr means a 30% saving in time and less tendency to split during use.

Head:

Combined hexagon head + AW drive with reinforced shaft neck for highly flexible power transmission and a perfect fit in metal connections.

Thread:

Asymmetrical coarse thread with sharp threads for short screw-in times.

Plastic non-friction coating:

Enables easy screw-in by reducing friction.

End mill

The milling section after the thread reduces the screw-in torque by 20%.

Tip

Reduced risk of splitting due to mating thread.

Notice

You can use the Würth timber dimensioning software (online or download for offline work) for an individualised static recommendation. For simple standard applications, please refer to the calculation tables. Ask your sales representative for your free copy.

Particle board screws are optimised for use in wooden materials. When used in plastic anchors, a reduction of the load-bearing capacity is possible. Therefore, we recommend only using screws without optimised thread tips (drill bit, mating thread, ring thread, serrated edge, self-clearing groove, etc.) in plastic dowels, e.g. Würth ASSY D, prefix 0151 (countersunk head) and prefix 0153 (pan head).
