Fast charging with gentle pre-charging


  • The charger charges the batteries up to 800 mA in a quick and controlled manner

  • A weak or deep-discharged rechargeable battery can be pre-charged with low current if required

  • The batteries are kept fully charged in the device by means of charging pulses

  • The fully automated 7-step charging process maximizes the batteries' service life and performance


Rapid capacity test and battery analysis


  • Immediately after being inserted, the rapid capacity test determines the residual charge of the battery and displays it on the 3-colour LED display for 5 seconds

  • The battery behaviour of the cell is analysed and evaluated to determine whether the battery can still be reliably used or whether it is faulty


IQ shutdown


  • Several protective mechanisms protect inserted batteries from overheating and overcharging
