1) PREPARATION
- Before the paint is applied, the areas to be touched up must be cleaned from dust, grease and silicone residues. Do not use aerosol lubricants with silicone near the area where the paint is to be applied.
2) STIRRING
- Shake the product well for 30 seconds before use. A rattling sound should be audible during shaking.
3) AIR REMOVAL
- Remove the cap from the pen, hold the pen vertically with its tip upward and gently squeeze the grip (marked “P”) to remove air from the pen.
4) PRIMING
- Point the tip of the pen down and squeeze gently the grip (marked “P”) until the paint soaks into the tip.
5) APPLICATION
- Touch up the surface with continuous strokes of the pen. During the stroke, apply light force to the pen tip, keeping the angle between the surface and the pen at approx. 45°. This will ensure the paint will continue to flow to the pen tip. If you need to apply a larger amount of paint, tighten your grip at the letter “P” and do not apply force to the pen tip. ATTENTION! Never apply force to the pen tip while squeezing the grip “P” because this will force a large amount of paint out of the pen. Do not use the pen to seal gaps around windows and doors.
6) REPLACING THE TIP
- If the pen tip becomes worn, damaged or contaminated with silicone, remove it from the pen immediately and replace it with a new tip.
