Suitable for bonding wood, metals, rubber, fabric, most plastics, cardboard, polyethylene, concrete, decorative laminates etc. It is perfect for permanent bonds where initial bond strength is required. It has good heat resistance and, if not contaminated, has a flash-off time of several hours. Always test the product on a small sample of material first to check its suitability for the given application. Some vinyl polymers, for example, contain a large amount of plasticizer, which can migrate over time and consequently plasticise the bond. If in doubt, always test beforehand.
Benefits
- Free from methylene chloride
- Even coating
- Quick and easy to apply
- Quick drying
- High content of dry residue
- Resistant to high temperatures
- Faint odour
- Long flash-off time
- Suitable for bonding a wide range of substrates
Under normal conditions the Multi spray adhesive dries in two minutes, but this time may vary according to the temperature and humidity. High humidity and low temperatures result in slower drying, and very low temperatures may lead to blooming. Blooming is caused by the moisture formed in the bonded joint when the temperature of the air above it decreases due to evaporation of the solvent.
Protect against extreme temperatures in a controlled environment between 15 to 35°C, and do not expose to direct sunlight. Do not place on a cold concrete floor. Low temperatures may result in irreversible separation of the adhesive.
When stored unopened, in the original packaging and under the recommended conditions, the product has a shelf life of 12 months.
Protect the product against freezing.

- The surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil or dust. Too much dust will prevent the adhesive from sticking to the surface.
- The substrates need to be treated before assembly. This is especially important with laminates. Treatment takes 48 hours at a temperature of 20°C and relative humidity of 45–55%. Air must be able to circulate freely around the parts.
- Hold the aerosol at an angle of approx. 70° to the surface, and apply an even layer of adhesive onto both surfaces so as to achieve 80–100% coverage. Spray one surface vertically and the other horizontally. Pay special attention to the edges.
- Once the adhesive is touch-dry, it is ready to create a bond.
- On porous substrates, you may need to apply the adhesive twice.
- The drying time is approx. 2 minutes depending on the substrate, ambient temperature and humidity. If too much adhesive is sprayed at once, this prolongs the drying time and the adhesive may penetrate through the laminate.
- Remove the tip of the spray gun after spraying and rinse it in a cleaning solvent before the adhesive hardens.
- Remember that Multi spray adhesive is a contact adhesive that forms a bond by sticking to itself, so there must be a sufficient amount of adhesive on both surfaces for the bond to be created.
- Leave the adhesive to flash off and protect the surfaces against soiling during this time. The adhesive is ready to form a bond once it is touch-dry and touching it with your finger does not leave an imprint.
- When the two surfaces are put together, they form a strong bond. You can use distance spacers to prevent the surfaces from coming into contact with each other too soon.
- Put the two surfaces together and press down evenly over the entire surface of the part, starting from the middle and moving outwards towards the edges. Use blocks or a 3-inch roller to ensure that the entire part is pressed together and sufficient adhesive contact is achieved.
- Pay special attention to the edges. Please bear in mind that testing the edge by lifting it up will weaken the bond at this point. Best results are achieved using a rolling press with a slot.
- After bonding, the part can be machined or trimmed as necessary.
- The adhesive takes approx. 24 hours to fully harden.
