Allows disconnection and removal of twin wheel sets on commercial vehicles.
- Salts, bases etc. (from gritters) mean rim surfaces are continually exposed to harsh conditions, which naturally leads to significant corrosion. Vehicles on construction sites often also stand up to their axles in mud. As a consequence, twin wheels rust solidly together and/or to the wheel hub. Loosening them is usually very tedious and time-consuming.
- The disassembly set offers a simple yet very effective solution. Special supports and the spindle (impact screwdriver-resistant) push the two rims apart.
- In most cases, the rear wheel rim can be removed by supporting on the brake drum.
- Ideal as a tool to keep on board or for breakdown service.
- Two wheel centring sleeves are also included that protect the wheel bolts, make installing the wheels easier, and hold brake drums in position on drum brakes.
