Due to the very different combinations, the measurement result might deviate from the actual value for the windscreen wiper water.
1. Check whether prism and flap are clean
2. Using a pipette, place a drop of test liquid on the prism
3. Close the flap
4. A sharp light-dark dividing line will appear on the scale
5. On completion of the test procedure, clean prism and flap with a dry cleaning cloth
