The anchor point ABS-Lock X-SW provides you with a fall arrester for sandwich roofs which is simple to mount from the top. To do so, you simply drill 4 holes, remove some of the insulation underneath the roof layer with a screwdriver or similar, and insert the toggle fixings. To mount the anchor point, the sandwich profile (steel) must have a minimum thickness of 0.5 mm.
The single anchor point is designed for a lateral load when installed properly. Up to 3 roof workers can be attached to the anchor ring at any one time. With almost no alteration, the ABS-Lock X for sandwich profiles can also be used as a simple intermediate support in our non-traversable rope harness systems. ABS-Lock X-SW anchor points for sandwich panels are mounted using 4 spring toggles inserted from above directly into the sandwich sheet. The insulated foam is hollowed out in the vicinity of the spring toggles. For bead spacings of 280-333mm. Anchor points of type ABS-Lock X-T should be used for shorter distances.
